Service Description

As lifelong animal lovers and pet owners, and now cohabiting with our 2 Persians Roxy and Rufus, we know how difficult it can be to arrange care for our pets. It may be an emergency, a short business trip or a family holiday, arranging pet care can be very fraught and stressful for you, and a visit to a cattery can be very stressful for our feline friends. We have experienced all of this, and now that we are both retired from our previous occupations, we feel able to offer to other people, the kind of cat care service that we would like to receive. We want to take away the stress and anxiety for you and your pets, so consider it very important to offer a free one hour consultation in order that we can meet you and your furry friends. This enables us to get to know each other and work out between us exactly the right amount of care required for your pets. Some cats may require a lot of daily attention, playing and grooming, others, like our own Roxy, are quite aloof and nervous, and simply want someone to pop in, feed them and reassure them that they are not alone. We understand that you also have to trust us in your home, so we are insured and DBS checked and are willing for you to check our certificates. We are also happy to take photos to send to you via WhatsApp in order to keep you informed of your pets wellbeing whilst you are away. During this consultation we will draw up a pet care plan for the duration that you require. This care plan will form the basis of our contract with you, should you decide to go ahead and employ our services. All cats must be microchipped, registered with a veterinary practice, have current vaccination certificates and up to date flea and worm treatment. Care bookings are not confirmed until we are in receipt of a 10% deposit. Full payment of any outstanding balance is required at least 7 days before commencement of care. We understand that care is sometimes required at very short notice and will try to help out as much as possible. Similarly, plans and holiday bookings change and we will again try to accommodate any changes.
